the first nominee Superhero-pin-up of december-2007 iiissssss...

dude looks like he needs to take a dump and the suits' auto-refuse-suction-function is broken and they've run out of T.P. [image via SHH] ... i prefer the other pose tho (same studio-shoot-day perhaps? *slackers* LOL) ... pickiness-aside (blame the festive season) this 12-inches of Iron Man has gotten me all googly-eyed and panting!


and tho i may sound like a spam-solicitor peddling manhood-enhancing aids (don't they do festive discounts anyways?) it seems nothing short of exciting to see the pix, even as handphone-blurred+dark as they are, seen standing next to a carded-movie figure [all toy-images via OSW] - apparently it comes with sounds and fires missiles, and hell, the light-up Repulsor-gauntlet is already enough to give me a *****... let's just say we don't need those manhood-enhancers, yeh? ... *cough*

frankly, im not (too) much of a blister-carded-toy-man (those were yonks ago LOL) but this series of 5 Iron Man movie-figures from Hasbro might get my blood-pumping for some carded-goodness again - featuring Iron Men: Mark-1, Mark-3 and we finally get to see how Mark-2 looks like! (so much for celluloid-surprises ~ *heh*) and Iron Monger! = schweet* ... now if only someone'll release 12"-er versions of them = then my IM-collection would be complete LOL

NEW IRON MAN INTERNATIONAL TEASER (YOUTUBED)

a new International Iron Man movie teaser youtubed - featuring more of the same from before, but with new added scenes of (a very buff) Robert "Tony Stark" Downey Jr in his workshop mucking about with an early incarnation of the Iron Man gauntlet, and we get to see and hear more from Gwyneth "Pepper Potts" Paltrow = seems more about the "humans" than the "armor" this time round, IMHO.

watch it before it gets pulled or wait for the eventual "official" QT/HD-version online. frankly, my enthusiasm is found wanting - i hope the hype-machine rams it up a notch or three soon ... or you can always go watch the first trailer on the official Iron Man movie website again :)

THE IRON MONGER

as much as i have enjoyed the Iron Man movie's armor-design (both Mark-1 and Mark-3) thus far, i too am finding the Iron Monger armor quite intriguing (altho the moniker itself constantly gives me chuckle-fits LOL :p)

above are screengrabs from the recent teaser shown during SDCC [blogged] ... apparently in the movie, the Iron Monger-armor designed by Obadian Stane (Jeff Bridges) was (ripped-off) primarily based on Stark's Mark 1, but tis a much bulkier and bigger version (*i lurve heavy-mechas*) and from these spy-shots of a location shoot [via] - it looks like Iron Man has his iron-mitts full! *cool*

IRON MAN TEASED

i've been watching the Iron Man teaser video (shown during the SDCC Marvel Studios / Iron Man-panel) over and over again quite a few times - i couldn't help but be both excited and irked at the same time = marveled by the possibilities of the mecha-visuals unfolding triumphantly before us ... and be confounded by the utter-darkness that fills the (tilted) screen most times (which i've foolishly labored to photoshop screengrabs LOL)...here's hoping the "official" teaser will hit soon :)

the crate has been 'official' opened and both Newsarama and Wizard Universe
were there to capture the moment... (and placate my beating heart :p)

... i realize i might just be liking this armor a tad too much? ... *bleh*

- The Mandarin is confirmed as one of Iron Man's nemesis [Jon Favreau interviewed on AICN]

- "They've wrapped principal photography and because they used so many practical FX--they actually built a suit and haven't done any CG on the footage (that was shown@SDCC) and a lot of it was in-camera--they were able to show so much. They're pulling the CGI together with ILM" [via]
