TONY: "i mean, i've tried to reduce the brightness of the glow-disc ..."
DUDE: "eerrr ... i don't think you should be sticking that thing into your glow-disc, dude"

DUDE: "ya gotta hammer-in that module there..."
TONY: "dude the disc aint glowing no more, i could die .. stop that hammering!"

"dude! could you like, get off my ass? im trying to find a part to cover my glowy-chest!"

PEPPER: "Tony? couldn't you like, make an on/off switch or something like that?"
TONY: "don't be silly! don't go yakking about things you don't know about, woman!"

"daymn, that woman was right!"

"hhhmmm now where am i gonna put that on/off switch in the armor?"

"now where did i put the other glove? ..."

folks? how much ya wanna bet that the MARK-2 is gonna end up being the WAR MACHINE in the sequels? is Jim Rhodes finally gonna get him sum Iron-Lurve? HAWT!

"When Stark lost his company to Obadiah Stane and relapsed into alcoholism, Rhodes took over the armor and role of Iron Man in Stark's stead, even fighting alongside Stark's colleagues in the Avengers during the Secret Wars. However, he began to experience headaches while using the armor, and over time, his behavior began to grow more erratic and aggressive, prone to violent solutions to given problems. Rhodes's manic mental state was later revealed to be the result of his using armors whose cerebral interfaces were calibrated for Stark's brain, leaving any other long-term user disoriented and confused. When Stark was on the road to recovery, he helped Rhodes maintain the armor, but Rhodes became increasingly paranoid, believing that Stark meant to retake the armor."

"Stark also subsequently designed a heavier-armed version of the Iron Man suit, the "Variable Threat Response Battle Suit" to battle the Masters of Silence, and it became known as the War Machine armor. Rhodes used the War Machine armor as Iron Man when Stark faked his own death while recovering from a life-threatening illness. When the ruse was revealed, it damaged the friendship between the two men, and they went their separate ways."

MARK-2 ARMOR REVEALED!

and the Iron Man movie MARK-2 Armor/Suit is finally revealed! ... well, at least as a toy?

featuring an All-Silver armor, wonder if this incarnation will be seen on the big-screen? a nice visual/design bridge between the rawness of Mark-1's tone and the sleek-mecha-design of Mark-3. peep Hasbro.com for weekly reveals of the carded-series [last featured here]

IRON MAN WALKING

so is this the actual Iron Man Mark 3 armor in action? [via/via]
... or is it a "Mark 2"? comicbook-gawds forbid if this be a fan-made-video, innit? *heh*

is it too dark to see, or does the suit look like a bulky hi-tech toaster with legs muscled-man painted red and gold?

*im juz sayin'*

courtesy of talkbackers on AICN, here it is the spy-clip:

"The suit was designed by an artist named Phil Saunders who collaborated with Adi Granov based on the comic art of Granov. It evolved over many months and then was brought to Winston Studios to refine the design in order to build it as a working practical costume. Winston modeled and then fabricated the actual suit. It is difficult to identify a single person as the designer because they each contributed to the final design. The EW article correctly stated, however, that the suit was built by Winston. I hope this helps." [via/via]
