About That Working LED Lit-Up 'Arc Reactor' for Tony Stark in 1/6

Here's a picture of Robert Downey Jr as "Tony Stark", with his Arc Reactor on his chest (damn but is that a nice tee too!) … now check out the 1/6th-version of Tony (below) WITH lit-up LED embedded in it's chest!

Inserted by hand into the 12-inch Hitfigure body type, "similar to HT Wolverine body compatible all HT body joints" - it is currently available at Forty42 for SGD$180 per piece (include shipping worldwide. Payment via Paypal), and local pickups at their store in China Square Central is SGD$170 per piece. Would look pretty darn awesome with the "Tony Stark" casual tee and pants set (seen in 'The Avengers') released not too long ago tho!

Two new character images from Iron Man 3 - featuring Robert Downey Jr as "Tony Stark" aka Iron Man (shown above) on the cover of EMPIRE magazine, and Gwyneth Paltrow as "Pepper Potts" (shown below). I've never been a huge fanatic of Ms Paltrow as Ms Potts when she first was in the role, now I can't imagine anyone else but her in the role … but somehow I still feel the "chemistry" is missing both characters, IMHO. But then again, who am I to say about such things? lol

IRON MAN 2 OFFICIAL FIRST IMAGE

USA Today unveils the first "official" image from IRON MAN 2 [via MovieWeb] showing the illustrious inventor billionaire in the foreground (probably twittering and stressed that folks have been un-following him) and a row of Iron Man armor variants in the background = *COOL*


Robert Downey Jr. returns as billionaire "Tony Stark" aka Iron Man (no secret identity issues here, as he outed himself in the first movie). Reoccurring characters include Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper-"I-nearly-slept-with-my-boss"-Potts, and Samuel L. Jackson as guest-star-at-credits'-end "Nick Fury" of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Terrance Howard has been replaced by Don Cheadle as "Col. James 'Rhodey' Rhodes" (aka "War Machine" in the comics). Amidst all the internet-rumours swirling thus far (I read but not post) - the sequel seemed to have taken on a more Soviet-flavour with the inclusion of Scarlett Johansson as super-spy "Natasha Romanoff" aka Black Widow, and Mickey Rourke as "Ivan" aka Whiplash (not Crimson Dynamo as everyone had hoped, it seems. And "Whiplash" is a woman in the comics). Sam Rockwell rounds out the "villains" as fellow-billionaire and Stark-Industries-competitor "Justin Hammer". [All info via IM2-IMDB credits].

"When Stark lost his company to Obadiah Stane and relapsed into alcoholism, Rhodes took over the armor and role of Iron Man in Stark's stead, even fighting alongside Stark's colleagues in the Avengers during the Secret Wars. However, he began to experience headaches while using the armor, and over time, his behavior began to grow more erratic and aggressive, prone to violent solutions to given problems. Rhodes's manic mental state was later revealed to be the result of his using armors whose cerebral interfaces were calibrated for Stark's brain, leaving any other long-term user disoriented and confused. When Stark was on the road to recovery, he helped Rhodes maintain the armor, but Rhodes became increasingly paranoid, believing that Stark meant to retake the armor."

IRON MAN TEASED

i've been watching the Iron Man teaser video (shown during the SDCC Marvel Studios / Iron Man-panel) over and over again quite a few times - i couldn't help but be both excited and irked at the same time = marveled by the possibilities of the mecha-visuals unfolding triumphantly before us ... and be confounded by the utter-darkness that fills the (tilted) screen most times (which i've foolishly labored to photoshop screengrabs LOL)...here's hoping the "official" teaser will hit soon :)

Rock ;p) on SuperheroHype and im really trying to build-up momentum and interest for this comicbook-adapted-movie, while acknowledging the fact that it will be the Iron Man Armour (more than anything else) that will make or break this movie for me (at this point in time anyways) :p
