folks? how much ya wanna bet that the MARK-2 is gonna end up being the WAR MACHINE in the sequels? is Jim Rhodes finally gonna get him sum Iron-Lurve? HAWT!

"When Stark lost his company to Obadiah Stane and relapsed into alcoholism, Rhodes took over the armor and role of Iron Man in Stark's stead, even fighting alongside Stark's colleagues in the Avengers during the Secret Wars. However, he began to experience headaches while using the armor, and over time, his behavior began to grow more erratic and aggressive, prone to violent solutions to given problems. Rhodes's manic mental state was later revealed to be the result of his using armors whose cerebral interfaces were calibrated for Stark's brain, leaving any other long-term user disoriented and confused. When Stark was on the road to recovery, he helped Rhodes maintain the armor, but Rhodes became increasingly paranoid, believing that Stark meant to retake the armor."

"Stark also subsequently designed a heavier-armed version of the Iron Man suit, the "Variable Threat Response Battle Suit" to battle the Masters of Silence, and it became known as the War Machine armor. Rhodes used the War Machine armor as Iron Man when Stark faked his own death while recovering from a life-threatening illness. IRON MAN TEASED

i've been watching the Iron Man teaser video (shown during the SDCC Marvel Studios / Iron Man-panel) over and over again quite a few times - i couldn't help but be both excited and irked at the same time = marveled by the possibilities of the mecha-visuals unfolding triumphantly before us ... and be confounded by the utter-darkness that fills the (tilted) screen most times (which i've foolishly labored to photoshop screengrabs LOL)...here's hoping the "official" teaser will hit soon :)

Iron Monger rawks a total heavy-mecha-vibe!

as reported, all Iron Man-flying sequences shown thus far are not CG-created,
but are shot with practical armor, designed and made by Stan Winston = *cool*

tis no small wonder why im getting excited over the movie!
(really hope it doesn't suck as bad as Spiderman 3 did tho, IMHO...) *bleh*

WAR MACHINE AND A POSSIBLE IRON MAN'S GIRLFRIEND

and so Terence Howard (who seriously needs new headshots) is cast as Jim Rhodes in the Iron Man movie (why do we need another mecha-man? ie: War Machine?) and i find my thruster-boots not quivering a single spitting-sputter ... but mention Famke Janssen?

and even tho tis just a rumor, i sullied my shorts smile a big chesire grin i do *hyuks* :p
