MAN IN THE IRON MASKS
read about + see the Iron Man Mark-3 helmet, as well as the Mark-1 mask "in action" :p
peep some Iron Man-goodness @ MTV Overdrive [via], where there's 3 videos of behind-the-scenes of the IM movie, starting off with an interview with director Jon Favreau demonstrating the movement sensitive light-up-function of the Mark-3 mask and Robert Downey Jr (aka Tony Stark) waves the mask in-front of the camera = montage of screengrabs here:
actually it starts with Robert being interviewed and Jon joins in holding the helmet.
FYI: the "flying helmet" comkes near the end of the interview. (apologies for the dodgy-grabs ... wish they were hi-res QT tho :p)
*nice*
and then there's another video (2nd) with the desert-scene of a soldier digging the Mark-1 mask out of the sand:
quite "funny" alla these - in lieu of showing the entire armor, they tease the fans with helmet-shots ... but appreciate at least the size of the helmet (especially Mark-3) is not some over-sized monstrosity that'll dwarf the suit and screw-up the proportion, innit? IMHO anyways :)
and of coz i can see the Mark-3 1:1 replica-helmet being sold (eventually) in the market with the movement-sensitive light-up eyes lah, innit? *muahahahaha*
